Boys' Hoops: Coaches vs. Cancer Classic

The annual Coaches vs. Cancer High School Basketball Classic, featuring several of the area's top boys' squads, is scheduled for Saturday at Cheltenham. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

In a rematch of last season's PIAA Class AAA final, Neumann-Goretti, faces District 3 power Susquehanna Township at 2:30 p.m. The Saints beat the Indians, 64-57, in March for their fourth title in five years.

In another intriguing contest, Class AAAA state runner-up La Salle, 2-0 and ranked No. 13 in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer, takes on No. 7-ranked Pennsbury (2-0) at 4 p.m.

Here is the schedule:

St. Joseph's Prep vs. Frankford, 1 p.m.

Susquehanna Township vs. Neumann-Goretti, 2:30

La Salle vs. Pennsbury, 4 p.m.

Abington vs. Cheltenham, 5:30 p.m.
