Baseball: Schneider, Kennedy named Perfect Game All-Americans

Eastern junior Davis Schneider and Millville junior Buddy Kennedy have been named to the U16 Perfect Game tournament All-American team.

Schneider batted .431 with 19 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 71 plate appearances in Perfect Game tournaments for the Tri-State Arsenal team.

Schneider is a Rutgers recruit.

Kennedy battled .377 with three home runs, seven doubles and 15 RBIs in 85 plate appearance for Team EvoShield out of Jupiter, Fla.

Kennedy is a North Carolina recruit.

The two athletes are close friends who started their travel-baseball careers together playing for the South Jersey Young Guns.
