Here's how things stand heading into Week 16.

1. Panthers, 14-0 (1): The 7-7 Falcons and 6-8 Bucs are the only thing standing between Panthers and 16-0.

2. Cardinals, 12-2 (2): They haven't turned the ball over in their last four games.

3. Patriots, 12-2 (3): Tom Brady has thrown 2 or more TD passes in 13 of Patriots' 14 games.

4. Seahawks, 9-5 (5): Everybody who gave the Seahawks up for dead when they were 2-4 please raise your hand.

5. Chiefs, 9-5 (6): Alex Smith has thrown one interception in the Chiefs' last 11 games.

6. Steelers, 9-5 (7): Six straight 30-plus point games and counting.

7. Broncos, 10-4 (4): Emmanuel Sanders had 181 receiving yards and 2 TDs v. Steelers.

8. Packers, 10-4 (8): Aaron Rodgers had his lowest passer rating of the season (68.8): in win over the Raiders.

9. Vikings, 9-5 (9): Mike Zimmer deserves some coach of the year consideration for job he's done with this team.

10. Bengals, 11-3 (10): A.J. McCarron will get a much bigger test from Broncos' defense than he got from 49ers.

11. Jets, 9-5 (11): Jets could finish 11-5 and still miss the playoffs.

12. Redskins, 7-7 (14): Kirk Cousins has a 115.0 passer rating and 72.8 completion percentage in the last eight games.

13. Texans, 7-7 (17): Hoyer, Mallett, Yates and Weeden isn't the name of a law firm. It's the Texans' QBs this season.

14. Raiders, 6-8 (12): Khalil Mack has an NFL-best 15 sacks, including 10 in the last 4 games.

15. Giants, 6-8 (16): Six of their eight losses have been by four points or less.

16. Eagles, 6-8 (13): Pro Football Focus counted 15 missed tackles in Sunday's ugly loss to the Cardinals.

17. Bills, 6-8 (15): For the 16th straight season, no playoffs for the Bills.

18. Falcons, 7-7 (21): All 7 of the Falcons' wins have come against NFC East and AFC South teams.

19. Colts, 6-8 (19): Matt Hasselbeck has thrown just 2 TD passes in the last 3 games – all defeats.

20. Rams, 6-8 (24): If they had to wear those embarrassingly ugly mustard colored uniforms, it's good that they won.

21. Bucs, 6-8 (18): Bucs may be out of playoff hunt, but Doug Martin is just 9 yards behind in battle for rushing title.

22. Bears, 5-9 (20): They've scored more than 22 points just once in their last 9 games.

23. Lions, 5-9 (25): Matthew Stafford had a 148.6 passer rating against the defenseless Saints.

24. Jaguars, 5-9 (23): Sunday's loss to the Falcons guaranteed an eighth straight non-winning season for Jags.

25. Chargers, 4-10 (30): With a 2016 move to LA a near certainty, Chargers left San Diego on a winning note.

26. Saints, 5-9 (26): Sean Payton has failed to make the playoffs for the third time in the last 4 seasons.

27. Cowboys, 4-10 (27): Jerry Jones found a mathematician who says Cowboys can still make the playoffs.

28. Dolphins, 5-9 (22): Ryan Tannehill's predicted breakout season turned out to be a real bummer.

29. 49ers, 4-10 (31): The over/under on 49ers players who will unexpectedly retire this offseason is five.

30. Ravens, 4-10 (28): No team in the league has more players on IR than the Ravens

31. Browns, 3-11 (29): Just one of their last 6 losses has been by less than 14 points.

32. Titans, 3-11 (32): With games against Houston and Indy left, they can influence who wins the AFC South.​
