UPDATE: The in-depth analysis of the Santorum intellect comes courtesy of Mark Salter, long-time top aide and co-author for John McCain. The backstory is that Santorum went on a radio show and discounted McCain's account that torture had nothing to do with finding Osama bin Laden, that in essence the former POW and torture victim in North Vietnam doesn't understand how torture works. Was that dumb on Santorum's part? What do you think?
