Beautiful You: Simple steps define eyebrows
Everyone’s eyebrows are unique, so don’t force yours into an unnatural shape. Instead, play up their natural shape. Here’s how — it’s not as intimidating as it sounds, I promise.
Everyone's eyebrows are unique, so don't force yours into an unnatural shape. Instead, play up their natural shape. Here's how — it's not as intimidating as it sounds, I promise.
1. Use a tweezer to pluck away stray hairs for a clean look. Then, brush brows up with a spoolie (I recommend NYX Micro Brow Pencil, $10, available at nyxcosmetics.com and Ulta). This helps you see the shape.
2. Using short strokes to mimic your natural hairs, softly fill in sparse areas with a pencil. Begin at the bottom of the brow for a good base.
3. Repeat the same step to the top of the brow, then the arch. For a softer look, try using a brow powder and angled brush.
4. To set brows and add texture, lightly go over them with a tinted brow gel. Try Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel, $22, anastasiabeverlyhills.com and Sephora.
