Beautiful You: Tips for using stick foundation
Stick foundations are making a comeback. They are fun, easy, and mess-free. Great for on-the-go applications, they blend seamlessly into skin.

Stick foundation is very buildable, so you can achieve anything from sheer to full coverage by layering more or less product. Ready to give one a chance? Here are some tips:
Apply stick foundation with a beauty sponge and/or a domed brush. The beauty sponge is my favorite. Dampen it and use a pouncing motion (instead of a sweeping one) to push the foundation into skin. If you apply too much, sheer it out with a beauty sponge.
Try this trick! Use a stick foundation two to three shades darker than your skin tone to contour your face for more depth and definition.
My top three recommendations:
Maybelline Fit Me! Shine Free Foundation Stick ($8.99, Ulta.com).
Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation ($25, Sephora.com).
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation ($43, Sephora.com).
