Back to Back Late ... But Not at Home

Been a long time since Phillies went back-to-back in the ninth inning or later at home.

Before Erik Kratz and Freddy Galvis did so yesterday, the Phillies had never hit back-to-back home runs in the ninth inning or later at Citizens Bank Park ... or Veterans Stadium.

The last time they did so in a home game was May 8, 1970, when Deron Johnson and Don Money connected in the ninth inning of what would become an 8-4, 12-inning loss to the Dodgers at Connie Mack Stadium. Between then and yesterday, the Fightins have clubbed late back-to-backers 10 times, all on the road. That includes doing so on back-to-back nights in Colorado in 1999.
