♦ Claude Giroux has 12 shots in his last 13 games at Madison Square Garden ... It has been 200 minutes of MSG ice time since his last goal there.
♦ Seven games have been played in the NHL playoffs so far. The Flyers are the only one of those 14 teams not to have scored at least three goals. They have one (I think).
♦ Ryan Howard Thursday pinch-hit against a LHP for the fifth time in his career (1-4, solo HR, BB) and the first time since April 25, 2008.
♦ This season, the Phillies are 5-2 in day games ... 2-6 in night games ... and 3-0 when Wil Nieves starts.
♦ The Rockies, who have been around since 1993, are htting .276 over the life of the franchise. If you take out Todd Helton's career totals, the average drops to .273 ... Helton, who played from 1997-2013, owns nearly eight percent (2,519) of all Rockies hits (31,876).
♦ San Antonio is the first team since the NBA-ABA merger in 1976 to not have a player averaging over 30 minutes a game.
