Inquirer circulation manager killed in Bucks County crash
Gary Shoap of Richboro had been with the Philadelphia papers since 1977

The victim in this morning's fatal two-vehicle crash in Buckingham Township has been identified as Gary P. Shoap, the upper Bucks County circulation district manager for the Inquirer and Daily News.
Buckingham police say Shoap, 58, a married father of two from Richboro, was turning from Cranberry Road onto Route 202 when his Honda CRV was struck by a box truck at about 5:15 a.m.
Shoap was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the box truck, Brian Chapman, 26, of Richlandtown, was not injured.
No charges filed; police are investigating. Condolences to the Shoap family.
Ed Delfin, home delivery sales manager and Shoap's boss, said Shoap had been with the newspapers since 1977, and had shown him the ropes when Delfin was first hired. "A good man," he said.
