Turn in your gun and get $100 gift card for groceries

Camden law enforcement official along with some South Jersey businesses are asking people to choose $100 worth of groceries over guns. A no-questions-asked gun exchange will be held at various sites Wednesday in Camden.

A no-questions-asked gun exchange will be held at various sites Wednesday in Camden. Bring a gun, rifle and/or automatic weapons and get a $100 gift card to Pathmark, the only large supermarket left in the city.

There is a two gun limit per person. And you can't bring BB guns, starter pistols, air riffles or flair guns. Guns must be unloaded and secured.

The following locations will be accepting guns from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28:

  1. St. Andrews, 3050 River Rd.

  2. Higher Ground C.O.G.I.C., 203 Vine Street

  3. Antioch Baptist Church, 7th & Ferry Ave.

  4. Evangelism Today Christian Center, 1198 Penn St.

  5. Mt. Calvary Baptist, 1198 Penn St.
