As I mentioned in my story today, the Camden Board of Education launched the process for finding the next superintendent. Its first step is hosting a series of community meetings Wednesday and Thursday. I mentioned some of those meetings in my story but here is the full list:
The series of meeting will start with a meeting for the city's nonprofits and community leaders at 9:30 a.m. at the Rowan University's Camden Conference Center at 200 Broadway, following by an 11:30 a.m. meeting for students at the same Rowan conference center.
Two meetings for students' parents and guardians will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday: at Creative Arts Morgan Village Academy, 990 Morgan Blvd., and the Rafael Cordero Molina School, 715 N. Seventh St. A third will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Octavius V. Catto Elementary School, 3100 Westfield Ave.
Also on Thursday, a meeting for union representatives and members will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Rowan University's Camden Conference Center at 200 Broadway. And then another meeting for the district's support staff will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Waterfront Technology Center on 200 Federal St.
