School's noteworthy holiday invitation

The School at Church Farm invites the community to its 87th Annual Christmas pageant: “Why the Chimes Rang.”

The School at Church Farm invites the community to its 87th Annual Christmas pageant: "Why the Chimes Rang."

Based on the classic 1909 short story by Raymond MacDonald Alden, "Why the Chimes Rang" will be presented Sunday at 3 p.m.; admission is free. Scores of students, including the CFS choir, take part in the family-friendly production, which is enhanced by the music of the school's Aeolian pipe organ and elaborate costumes dating from the early 20th century.

Located on a 150 acre campus in Exton, the School at Church Farm is a college-preparatory, Episcopal boarding and day school for 190 boys, grades 7 through 12, from Chester County and far beyond. For directions or more information, call 610-363-5383.
