Child-luring attempt reported

An 11-year-old girl told West Goshen Township police that a man signaled for her to approach his vehicle this morning, but she ran home.

Police said the vehicle, a silver or blue sedan, was parked at the intersection of Mackenzie Drive and Costwold Lane when the incident occurred. The man, who motioned for the girl to come over to the vehicle, which was across the street, was described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male in his 20s. The girl said he did not get out of the sedan or speak to her. He was last seen traveling west on Mackenzie Drive toward Grove Road, police said.
