Art, architecture win residents notice

Among the recognitions announced today in Harrisburg, two Chester Countians received notice for accomplishments ranging from art to architecture.

Brigid McNulty, a fifth-grader at Exton Elementary School, was one of the winners of the 2012 "Drug-Free" Calendar Contest sponsored by the Attorney General's Office. Her anti-drug illustration will appear on the calendar's November page and won her a $200 U.S. savings bond.

Daniel S. DiMucci of West Chester, a senior vice president of Pennoni Associates Inc., an engineering and consulting firm in Philadelphia, was confirmed by the Senate for reappointment to the State Board of Landscape Architects.
