Authorities said they had no doubt that a Phoenixville High School student wanted on murder charges knew that she was being sought, and they were right: Tonight, Monique Robinson, 18, of Phoenixville, surrendered to Chester County Detectives after three months on the run.

Robinson was one of three people implicated in the Sept. 14 homicide of Selvin Lopez-Mauricio, a Guatemalan native who was returning home from his fast-food restaurant job when he was killed during a robbery, police said. Saleem D. Williams, 20, of Sharon Hill, and Stephen A. Reidler, 23, of Linfield, have been in custody since Sept. 21.

Phoenixville Detective Joseph Nemic said Robinson turned herself in at 8 p.m. with her attorney, Robert J. Donatoni. Nemic said she was to be arraigned by video and sent to Chester County Prison. According to the criminal complaint, during the scuffle with the victim, Robinson allegedly handed an automatic weapon to Williams and said: "Shoot him!"
