PHILADELPHIA (June 8, 2009)—On Wednesday June 10, 2009 Friends of Jonathan Saidel will host a birthday celebration at the Philadelphia Zoo to mark his 58th birthday, and kick off a year of political renewal. Saidel, who served as Philadelphia's City Controller from 1990-2005, is exploring a run for Lt. Governor in 2010. As he explores a run for statewide office, the fun-raiser will be a momentous gathering of hundreds of supporters, friends and family at the landmark Philadelphia Zoo.
