Tuesday's DN: Cops and Castor Gardens tackle crime together

The Philadelphia Police Department and the Take Back Your Neighborhood community group work together to combat crime in the Castor Gardens neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia.

An historic 163-year-old church at 11th and Spring Garden streets has a date with the wrecking ball that a neighborhood wants to cancel.

Was Frank Tepper, a former cop and now convicted murderer, a "drunken idiot" or a problem Philadelphia failed to address, attorneys ask in federal court in a lawsuit brought by the family of Tepper's 21-year-old victim.
