‘Dancing with the Stars’ results: No fairy tale ending

It was a Disney themed night. Who got the (Capt.) Hook?

Oh, what a night! Donny Osmond was the guest judge. The celebs were put back with their original dance partners. (Tom Bergeron referred to it as a "conscious recoupling".) And the theme was songs from famous Disney movies – most of them animated. The movies, not necessarily the songs.

So who got the boot? Caution: stop reading HERE if you'd rather stay in the dark.

Was it the couple at the bottom of the leaderboard, Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas? No, although their garishly costumed salute to The Little Mermaid should have not only got them eliminated from the show but deported. Must be a lot of Full House fans still out there.

Was it the couple with the lowest dance score of the night? No, although the 28 Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke got for dancing with the Genie from Aladdin was actually waaaay generous.

Was it the couple who apparently spent all week fighting, NeNe Leakes and Tony Dovolani? No, even after her Cruella de Vil foxtrot, they will live to spar another week.

For reasons that elude detection, the ejected couple was Cody Simpson and Witney Carson. The Aussie surfer dude/pop singer and the So You Think You Can Dance veteran did a Simba Samba to the music (and some of the dialogue) of The Lion King. Donny O.'s criticism was that Cody didn't appear to be having enough fun as he was dancing. Off with his head!

The clip here is of the season's first perfect score. It's James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd doing a distinctly modern routine to "Let It Go", the recent Oscar winner from Frozen. Even the East German judge gave it a 10!
