First Quarter: Cleveland 31, Sixers 24

Sixers Starters: Andre Miller, Andre Iguodala, Thaddeus Young, Elton Brand, and Theo Ratliff.

Cavaliers Starters: Sasha Pavlovic, Mo Williams, LeBron James, Ben Wallace, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

Sixers substitutions: Reggie Evans checks in for Ratliff (with 5:13 left in quarter), Willie Green checks in for Young (with 4:39 to play in quarter), Lou Williams checks in for Elton Brand (with 3:58 to play in quarter), Young returns for Iguodala (with 2:44 to play in quarter).

Young played just over 10 minutes in the first quarter, didn't score any points, but played well against James. James scored most (possibly eight) of his 12 points with Young on the bench.

Brand scored four points on 1 for 5 shooting; Iguodala looked good, going 3 for 5 and scoring seven points; Miller was steady (isn't he always) with two assists and four points.

Williams scored seven points in just under four minutes off the bench. Included in those seven points were two free throws he earned when he just *completely* broke James' ankles (figuratively, I'm not breaking news here) on a cross-over to the rim.

Photo: I took a photo of the Phillie Phanatic for two reasons. 1.) It was the only thing I thought I could take a photo of that we would all agree upon who was in the photo. That is to say, this camera on this Blackberry is so poor, I took a photo of a big, fuzzy, green monster because it's so obvious. 2.) The Phillies are in the World Series. The Phillies, therefore, are everywhere.

Halftime: Cleveland 54, Sixers 47

Well, well, well, we just finished the first half with a mind-boggling alley-oop dunk by none other than Mr. James. I say mind-boggling not because this hasn't become routine for LeBron, but because it really looked like the pass (by Ben Wallace) was going to sail over James' extended arm. I oviously did not see who was to be on the receiving end of said pass.

Stats of players who ended the half: Young has five points, three rebounds; Brand has four points, nine rebounds; Ratliff has 0 points, two rebounds; Miller has six points, three assists, and two rebounds; and Green has nine points, two rebounds, one assist.

For the Cavs: LeBron has 14 points, six rebounds, four assists; Wallace has two points, two rebounds; Williams has 13 points, two assists; Anderson Varejao has five points, three rebounds; Wally Szczerbiak has six points, two assists, one rebound.

Third Quarter: Sixers 71, Cavaliers 67

LeBron has 20 points and eight rebounds despite appearing to play poorly.

Brand has 12 points, Young has 12 points, and Iguodala has 13 points. Brand also has 11 rebounds. Heck, even on an "off night" as it has seemed for Brand, he still has a double-double with 12 minutes to play. Iguodala had a monster dunk on a fast break.

The Sixers have 36 points in the paint compared to 20 for the Cavs. And the Sixers are outrebounding the Cavs 39-28. You know what they say, defense wins games, but rebounding wins ...
