Cody Zeller: I'll 'fit in well' with 76ers

Former Indiana forward Cody Zeller said his interview with the 76ers went well. “I think I’ll fit in well there,” said Zeller, who met with the Sixers’ brass on Thursday at the NBA draft combine.

CHICAGO -- Former Indiana forward Cody Zeller said his interview with the 76ers went well.

"I think I'll fit in well there," said Zeller, who met with the Sixers' brass on Thursday at the NBA draft combine.

The Sixers will likely get the 11th pick in next month's draft. ESPN's Chad Ford predicts the franchise will use it on Zeller in his updated mock draft.

But drafting this post player will be viewed as a risk for a franchise coming off 34-win season.

He does several things well, like having a high basketball IQ, running the floor, and being skilled around the basket. However, he needs to add strength and lacks the physicality to flourish in the paint.

But he's confident that he'll contribute on the next level.

"I think [I bring] a lot of things, my work ethic and I pride myself on winning," he said. "It's always want I've done throughout college and high school. So I think I can bring that to an NBA team."
