Sixers in no rush to play Glenn Robinson

The 76ers haven't deviated from their plan to bring Glenn Robinson III along slowly. Translation, don't expect to see the newly acquired rookie swingman on the court Friday against the Sacramento Kings at Wells Fargo Center.

"I got a gut feel to what we are going to do," Brown said, "and I don't see Glenn being a part of it tomorrow."

The Sixers claimed Robinson off waivers on Saturday.  He wasn't with the team for that night's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Robinson didn't play Wednesday night against the Chicago Bulls.

"As I said right when we got him, my plan is to get him a little bit more comfortable," Brown said. "I don't feel the need [to play him], because I do have an abundance of wings."

Point guards Isaiah Canaan and Ish Smith and power forward Thomas Robinson saw action shortly after they were acquired out of need.
