And the best cheesesteak in Delaware County is …

... I don’t know. I’m asking you. Enough arguing about the traditional Philly spots. This is a poll to determine Delaware County’s best cheesesteak.

... I don't know. I'm asking you. This is a poll to determine Delaware County's best cheesesteak.

Enough arguing about the traditional Philly spots. I want your opinion on the best place in Delco, for two reasons:

First, the suburban cheesesteak is often eclipsed by the city cheesesteak, specifically tourist traps like Pat's and Geno's ... not that I haven't made my share of 3 a.m. trips to 9th and Passyunk.

Second, lunch (half)hour is approaching, and I'm hungry.

So leave your vote in the comments section or email me at benderw@phillynews.com. I'll announce the winner after I finish the Delco version of Glen Macnow's "Sandwich Safari."

Update: OK, I'm getting slammed with email, Facebook messages, etc. with cheesesteak suggestions, which is good. Keep them coming. I'm looking for repeats. Mentioned so far: Leo's on Chester Pike (several people), Anna's, Goomba's on Ashland Avenue, Jim's in Springfield, Philip's in Clifton, Dairy Cottage in Springfield (from a carnivore turned vegetarian?), Phil and Jim's on Edgmont Avenue, and Upper Crust in Newtown Square.
