Comedy Central to debut 'Delco Proper'

I guess it was only a matter of time before Comedy Central discovered Delaware County. Now, it has happened.

An apparently Delco-centric show is set to debut Monday on ComedyCentral.com.

Here's the tagline: "Three best friends from a rough blue-collar neighborhood in Philadelphia struggle to avoid trouble and make a name for themselves in a city where the odds are stacked against them."

Technically, not geographically accurate, but close enough. The show is starring Tommy Pope, Tim Butterly and John McKeever and is directed by McKeever. Check out their Deer Prom YouTube channel.

And yes, the Delco accents, duly noted by PhillyVoice.
