In July, Nikale Mitchell got away with stealing $5,000 from Sugarhouse Casino, according to police. On Saturday, he was caught for allegedly stealing just $3.
Around 7:35 p.m. Saturday, Mitchell, 21, of Philadelphia, was at the casino on Delaware Avenue near Frankford, when he pocketed three $1 chips from a gaming table, state police said.
Casino security officers stopped Mitchell for the theft and surveillance officers realized that he matched video and still shots of a man who'd stolen $5,000 worth of chips on July 19, according to police.
Mitchell, who obviously does not know to quit when he's ahead, was charged with theft in both cases, police said.
Here's some advice, if you get away with stealing $5,000 from a place with some of the best surveillance in the city, don't go back, especially if you have "distinctive tattoos," as police said Mitchell did.
