Cops investigating slashed tires in Feltonville

Days after a Holmesburg man was arrested for allegedly slashing the tires on over 50 parked cars, police are searching for someone who slashed tires on four cars parked on Gransback Street near Rockland.

Police responded to the Feltonville Street around 7 a.m. Friday, and noted that the culprit caused about $1,200 in damage. It's unclear exactly when the suspect vandalized the cars.

Police Friday afternoon had no information on a possible suspect.

David Toledo, 44, was arrested Wednesday on charges of criminal mischief, submitting false reports to police and possession of an instrument of crime.

While police were investigating car vandalisms in February, Toledo - who works as a butcher - posed as a victim and allegedly slashed his own tires.

Toledo is being held in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility on $270,000 bail, according to court documents.
