Cops searching for suspects in multiple armed robberies
Police are searching for three men in connection with a string of armed robberies Thursday morning in Southwest Philadelphia and Darby.

Around 2:30 a.m., a man walked to the drive through window of a McDonald's on Woodland Avenue near 60th Street and pointed a gun at an employee.
The employee handed the man $58 in cash, and he ran south from the restaurant on 60th Street, police said.
Police described the suspect as a thin black man, between 5 feet 11 and 6 feet tall who was wearing a gray hooded sweater with orange letters and a black ski mask.
At 3:30 a.m., a man walked up to the drive through window of a McDonalds on Vine Street near 56th and pointed a gun at an employee inside the restaurant. The employee ran away from the window, and the man fled the scene without any money, police said.
The suspect in that robbery was described as a thin black man with dark skin and scruffy hair. He was wearing a white long sleeved shirt and a black knit hat with two white stripes around it, police said.
Just after 4 a.m., two men walked into a 7-Eleven on Lebanon Avenue near 64th and robbed it at gunpoint.
One of the armed suspects approached a clerk demanding money from the cash register. The two fled the scene with $130 in cash and 100 cartons of cigarettes.
Police said the men ran west on Lebanon Street and north on 64th.
The suspects were described as two black men. One was about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighed about 240 pounds and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white draw strings, black pants and a black ski mask.
Police said the second suspect appeared to be in his early to mid 20s, weighed about 180 pounds and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with "TEXAS" across the front in orange letters.
The man matches the description of the suspect who robbed the McDonalds on Woodland Avenue earlier that morning.
About 5:15 a.m., two men walked into a 7-11 on 58th Street near Whitby Avenue armed with guns and demanding money, police said.
The men forced clerks inside the store to open the registers and grabbed $200 in cash, packs of cigarettes and lottery tickets before fleeing the scene.
Police said the suspects in this robbery are the same ones who robbed the 7-Eleven on Lebanon Avenue, and said the the men also robbed a 7-Eleven on Main Street near Ridge Avenue in Darby.
Surveillance cameras recorded footage of the robberies. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects to call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online.
