A 20-year-old man died at the hospital after he was shot twice in a public-housing development in North Philadelphia Wednesday night, police said.

Cops said they were called to the Johnson Homes, on 27th Street near Ridge Avenue, and found the victim lying on a walkway suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:19 p.m., according to Inspector Joseph Bartorilla.

The scene where the man was shot was marked by four spent shell casings, blood and a bicycle that cops believe he'd been riding when someone opened fire on him, Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

No arrests were made in the homicide as of 11 p.m. Wednesday.
