Man, 38, shot dead in broad daylight in Kensington

A morning shooting in Kensington left a man dead Wednesday, police said.

Officers were called to the intersection of D Street and Indiana Avenue around 10:20 a.m. and found the 38-year-old man lying on the ground suffering from four gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition. Doctors, however, were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at 10:42 a.m.

Police so far say they have no leads in the broad-daylight slaying.
