Man fatally shot in North Philadelphia

Police are investigating a shooting in North Philadelphia that left a 23-year-old man dead Tuesday night in North Philadelphia.

Around 8:20 p.m. shots were fired on Seltzer Street near 27th, police said.

The victim was wounded in his head, chest and abdomen. He was taken to Temple University Hospital by medics and was pronounced dead at 8:48 p.m.

Information on what that led to the shooting and a description of the suspect was not immediately available.

No arrests were made.
