Nutter: $10G reward for 'a--hole' shooter of 8-year-old

Mayor Michael Nutter could not contain his ire today for the shooter who lodged a bullet in an 8-year-old girl's head when he opened fire on a double parked car in West Philly during a road rage incident Saturday night.

Mayor Michael Nutter could not contain his ire today for the shooter who lodged a bullet in an 8-year-old girl's head Saturday when he opened fire on a double parked car in West Philly during a road rage incident.

"That is the most idiotic, crazy-a-- behavior that people engage in, this random gunfire because you want to get around a car that happened to be double parked?" Nutter said. "I mean that's a real a--hole."

Nutter made the remarks following a memorial service for the city's fallen police officers and firefighters. He also announced that the city has put up a $5,000 reward for information leading to the shooter and the FOP has put up an additional $5,000, bringing the total reward to $10G.

Little Aniyah Curry remains at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition. She was expected to undergo surgery today to remove the bullet from her head.
