A surveillance camera recorded a man robbing a TD Bank branch in Northeast Philadelphia Monday afternoon and police are hoping that help from the public helps lead them to making an arrest.

At 4:44 p.m. Monday, the man walked into the bank on Grant Avenue near Roosevelt Boulevard and gave a teller a threatening demand note.

Police said the man took an undisclosed amount of money and ran west from the bank through the parking lot.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s to early 30s. The man is clean shaven, was wearing a baggy gray hooded sweater and blue jeans.

Tipsters are asked to call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online.
