Second suspect arrested in Eastwick murder
A man wanted in connection with the murder of an Eastwick man has been captured in Honduras, authorities said.
A man wanted in connection with the murder of an Eastwick man has been captured in Honduras, authorities said.
Miguel Gonzalez, 38, of Lee Street near Cumberland, is charged in the May 31 shooting death of Aaron Hayes Sr., 52, near Hayes' home on Elmwood Avenue near 71st Street. Authorities said Hayes was shot once in the head and declared dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
On July 19, police arrested Desiree Arnett Hicks, 56, also of Elmwood Avenue near 71st Street. Hicks was charged with murder and related offenses.
On Thursday, the FBI's Fugitive Task Force located Gonzalez in Corinto, Honduras, and took him into custody. He has been transported back to Philadelphia to face the charges.
