Suspect in double homicide of joyriding teens sought

Cops are on the hunt for 26-year-old Zaiee Talbert, wanted in connection with the violent shooting deaths of two teenagers as they were joyriding through Fairhill on a warm day in March.

Cops are on the hunt for 26-year-old Zaiee Talbert, wanted in connection with the violent shooting deaths of two teenagers as they were joyriding through Fairhill on a warm day in March.

Dexter Bowie, 17, and his cousin, Jonathan Stokley, 18, were riding on an ATV the night of March 12 when they were gunned down in a hail of bullets – from both an AK-47 and a 9mm handgun – on 9th Street near Cambria. Both teens died from their injuries.

Talbert is black, 5 feet 8 and 185 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his arms. He goes by the nickname "E-Dollar" and was last known to live on Belmar Terrace near 58th Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

The murder suspect has a long rap sheet, court records show, and pleaded guilty to carrying a firearm without a license and aggravated assault in 2005. He was found guilty on charges of simple assault and drug charges in 2005 and 2004, respectively, and has been arrested several times on drug and illegal firearms charges, records show.

He's considered armed and dangerous.
