This week's 'Week's Most Wanted' fugitives: Wait, that's a woman?

One of the mug shots provided to the Daily News by the FBI for this week’s “Week’s Most Wanted” fugitives raised a philosophical question: If a fugitive is a woman, but looks like a man, do you still describe her as a woman?

One of the mug shots provided to the Daily News by the FBI for this week's "Week's Most Wanted" fugitives raised a philosophical question: If a fugitive is a woman, but looks like a man, do we still describe her as a woman?

Take a look at this glamour shot of Shermell Mobley, 30, a 5-feet-11, 250-pound beauty with tattoos all over her neck, back and arms.

The DN gets mug shots almost every day. We've had ones that made us laugh and ones that have given us nightmares. This one just made us scratch our heads and go back and double check that we have the right mug shot – which we do.

Mobley's wanted for an alleged gunpoint robbery of Cold Beer and Deli in West Philly, on Market Street near 60th, back on Dec. 15, 2008, and her last known address is on Carpenter Street near 62nd.

This is a funny pair of "Week's Most Wanted" fugitives because Jamil Baynes, the other fugitive highlighted this week, actually looks more like a woman than the fugitive who's actually a woman.

Baynes, 28, is wanted in the murder of Kenneth Wiggins, who was fatally shot in the chest on Chew Avenue near Locust in East Germantown April 12, 2008. Wiggins is 5-feet-9 and 160 pounds and was last known to live on 68th Street near Buist Avenue and on Millick Street near Elmwood Avenue, both in Southwest Philly's Elmwood section. According to the FBI, Baynes may also be in Darby.

Which of these fugitives do you think would win in a fight?

Needless to say, they should both be considered armed and dangerous. If you think you spot one of them or know their whereabouts, call in a tip to the FBI Fugitive Task Force at 215-418-4000.
