Three Temple students robbed

Three Temple University students were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Monday.

Three Temple University students were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Monday.

Temple officials said the robberies occurred on Dauphin Street near 15th; Norris Street near 15th, and Dauphin Street near 13th. One robber was described as a bearded, light-skinned black man who was 5-feet-10 to 6-feet-2, and who wore a gray hoody and dark puffy vest.

The other robber was described as a dark-skinned black man who was about 5-feet-5 and wore a dark puffy coat. In each of the robberies, Temple officials said, one of the crooks brandished a silver handgun. Tipsters can contact Philadelphia police at 215-686-3093 or -3094.
