Police arrested a Kensington woman after she stormed into a Fairhill bar early this morning and slashed two women with a box cutter during an argument.

Lisandra Alvarado, 40, of Lee Street near Somerset, was charged with aggravated assault and related offenses after the 9:15 p.m. incident in a bar at Lehigh and Fairhill, police spokeswoman Officer Christine O'Brien said. The incident unfolded when Alvarado allegedly began arguing with another woman, 42, and the argument escalated to a fistfight, O'Brien said. A witness, 31, broke up the fight, but Alvarado allegedly returned with a box cutter and cut the victim, the witness and herself. All three women were treated at Temple University Hospital.
