Three women were busted earlier this week for allegedly turning tricks in a motel near Philadelphia International Airport, police said Thursday.

Philadelphia police's City Wide Vice Enforcement Unit was notified earlier this month by the FBI of prostitution going on In hotels and motels near the airport that were also connected with robberies in the area, according to police.

Undercover Philadelphia cops began investigating, and on Wednesday afternoon, police said, one of them was solicited by a prostitute in a motel on Tinicum Boulevard near 86th Street. Police arrested Heather Marrocco, 22, of Pine Hill, N.J. there, and she has been charged with prostitution and related offenses.

Wednesday evening, undercover officers used a website called Backpage.com to make an appointment with two women using the names "Veronica" and "Christine," police said. An undercover cop met the women at the same hotel on Tinicum where Marrocco had been arrested earlier, and they solicited him for sex, according to authorities. As a result, the women, Andrea Card, 23, and Patricia Layton, 21, both of West Valley City, Utah, were arrested on the spot. Card and Layton are charged with prostitution, criminal conspiracy and related offenses.
