Who's Spartacus?
Starz' "Spartacus" will be recasting the title role -- relinquished by Andy Whitfield last year after a recurrence of his cancer -- but no one's naming names yet. And with John Hannah and Lucy Lawless here to talk about the upcoming prequel, "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena," there's curiousity, too, about how much more we'll see of them after this. "I don't think there's much hope for John, that's kind of a head in a jar kind of thing," quipped one of the producers. But Lawless, as has been hinted before, could return for Season 2. "It was just a flesh wound," joked the actress of the injury that appeared to take her out of the game permanently at the end of the show's first season. Could being the wife of exec producer Rob Tapert have curative powers? "Well, it was just a little poke in the tummy," Lawless said. "Being married to the producer has nothing to do with it...Mind you, he knows his whole family's happier when Mommy's working." As for Whitfield's replacement, whose name may not be announced for a few weeks, "We feel confident, as does Starz, that we will find the right person for that," Tapert said.
