Off the hook!

Fresh local seafood is “Off the Hook – A Celebration of Fish from New Jersey & Beyond,” a culinary celebration coming June 22-25 at nearly three dozen restaurants in Camden, Gloucester and Burlington counties. Four-course, $30 meals will feature local and sustainable seafood to educate seafood lovers about the state of our oceans and fish populations.

Four-course, $30 meals will feature local and sustainable seafood to educate seafood lovers about the state of our oceans and fish populations.

Local seafood such as New Jersey skate, monkfish, oysters, black bass and scallops will be on menus, which will also feature barramundi, suzuki and hiramasa, three sustainable fish from Australia..

"We're excited to bring back our very successful 'Off the Hook' Week from last year," said Chef Joe Palombo of Mirabella Café in Cherry Hill, who is spearheading the event. "All the talented chefs have created new seafood recipes that we look forward to sharing with our patrons."
