Burlco man killed stepping into truck's path

Inquirer staff writer Dwight Ott reports:

A man struck and killed yesterday by a by a tractor trailer on Route 38 in Lumberton has been identified as a 23-year-old Medford man.

Police said Daniel Angelotti was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by William Linville of Towncreek, Ala.

Lumberton Det. Tony Diloreto said Angelotti and his fiancee had pulled to the shoulder of the road when Angelotti apparently inadvertently stepped into the path of the truck.

No charges were filed, police said.
