Deadly crash, injured police, Wildwood fire, stormy weather

Here's what Inquirer reporters are working on this morning:

Two Philadelphia officers struck by car: About 1 a.m., two officers were approaching a car during a traffic stop in Olney when the car took off, striking the officers, according to 6ABC. Other police gave chase and pulled the car over, arresting the driver. The passenger ran off, but was found hiding by police dogs. The officers were treated at Einstein Medical Center and released, according to the 6ABC.com report.

Lousy weather: After a rainy morning, a wintry mix -- rain, snow and sleet -- would fall this afternoon in counties west and north of Philadelphia.

Wildwood fire: Reports are that a fire severely damaged parts of the Skylark Resort Motel at Atlantic and Spicer Avenues.
