Caddy broadsides patrol car, two officers slightly hurt

Philadelphia police are investigating another crash involving a patrol car.

Inquirer staff writer Zoe Tillman reports:

A Cadillac broadsided a Philadelphia police patrol car this morning at a Kensington intersection, sending two officers to the hospital, authorities say.

Police said the officers were treated for knee and arm pain at Temple University Hospital and releaseed following the 4:11 a.m. collision at  North Lee and East Clearfield Streets.

Police said an the initial investigation indicated the female driver of the Cadillac ran a stop sign while heading east on Clearfield.

The woman, not immediately identified,  was uninjured but was taken to Episcopal Hospital for observation.

No charges have been filed yet.
