Lindsay Lohan fronts seductive fragrance ad campaign, could play Elizabeth Taylor in film

Hot off of a nude pictorial in Playboy and a subsequent modeling gig for Jag Jeans, Lindsay Lohan fronts another ad campaign, this time for a new fragrance by FCUK (French Connection United Kingdom—for all those who just gasped) called Friction!

Hot off of a nude spread in Playboy and a subsequent modeling gig for Jag Jeans, Lindsay Lohan fronts another ad campaign, this time for a new fragrance by FCUK (French Connection United Kingdom—for all those who just gasped) called Friction!

The seductive ads feature 25-year-old Lohan and male model Petey Wright- in bed. The campaign reminds us of the tantalizing Gucci Guilty ads from 2010 starring Chris Evans and Evan Rachel Wood, minus the discernible chemistry.

The Friction! campaign was shot by photographer Yu Tsai, who notably also shot Lindsay for Playboy and subsequently hired the actress for Jag Jeans. Keep in mind, folks: It helps to make good impressions and connections. In December, Tsai praised Lindsay stating that she "embodies the strength and fearlessness of the woman of today. She is unafraid to be who she is."

This leads us to once again wonder: Is Lindsay prepping for a comeback or is her acting career, over? Last month, the Inquirer published an interesting perspective piece on Lohan's Playboy spread. Noah Levy, a senior news editor at Us Weekly, told staff writer Tirdad Derakhshani, "The dream that [Lohan] can be an A-list star like Amanda Seyfried is officially gone."

Although Lohan's antics generate more buzz than any other celebrity in Hollywood, the prospect of her once-promising career as a top actress has since diminished into Tinseltown dust. To put it this way- As I was recently watching Mean Girls, a friend pointed out, "Who would've thought obscure Rachel McAdams would go on to become the bigger star with a better career than Lindsay Lohan?"

However, all this may be the groundwork for a brewing Hollywood comeback story.

On Tuesday, EW confirmed that Lohan is in early talks with Lifetime to potentially play the late Elizabeth Taylor in slated 2011-2012 film, "Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story."

And who doesn't appreciate comebacks, even if it involves a seemingly-unstoppable trainwreck?
