Everyone likes to complain about health care, but how is our system really doing? Do we have the best in the world, as some have claimed? Or do we have one of the worst among developed countries, as many critics assert?

Everyone likes to complain about health care, but how is our system really doing? Do we have the best in the world, as some have claimed? Or do we have one of the worst among developed countries, as many critics assert?

The nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation created a scorecard for the system by asking four key questions: how healthy are we, what is the quality of our care, how much does our care cost, and how easy is it to access health care services.
