Green responds on schools

Councilman Bill Green, a Nutter adversary, school critic and 2015 mayoral hopeful responded to Mayor Nutter's Sunday letter to the School Reform Commission, demanding more oversight and information if the city is going to raise taxes and cough up $100 million in funding.

Green's message is, essentially, great idea mayor, but why hasn't the city had oversight and access to the School District's books in the past - particularly since the city provides about 30 percent of the district's funding.

Here's a full copy of the letter.
