A busy exit ramp off I-95 South in Philadelphia will soon be closed for nine months for reconstruction.

A busy exit ramp off I-95 South in Philadelphia will soon be closed for nine months for reconstruction.

The ramp to Aramingo Avenue at the Betsy Ross Bridge interchange will shut down at 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to PennDot.

The rebuilt ramp is expected to open in June.

Motorists will be directed to exit at Bridge Street and follow detour signs to Aramingo Avenue. Alternatively, drivers can remain on the highway and exit at Allegheny Avenue.

The on-ramp to I-95 South at Aramingo has been closed since December and is expected to reopen later this year.
