Slippery rails causing Regional Rail delays

Wet leaves are causing delays for SEPTA Regional Rail riders.

The transit agency said riders on all lines could face up to 25-minute delays Tuesday morning due to slippery rails.

The seasonal hazard is an expected problem for Regional Rail lines during rainy weather in the fall.

Forecasters say to expect showers to move through the area Tuesday, but most of the rainfall should end by late morning or early afternoon.
