Sixteen days after their debut all 10,000 of the SEPTA Key cards made available for an early adopter program have been sold.

The electronic fare card introduced by SEPTA June 13 presently allows riders to buy monthly or weekly passes through a card that can be replentished and, eventually, will offer the flexibility of an E-ZPass.

SEPTA hasn't committed to a time when the cards will be rolled out for all riders. The cards can be used on subways, trolleys, buses, the light rail and for weekend trips on Regional Rail.
