Mp3 Blog Charts
Need any more convincing that music blogs build buzz?
Introducing Tripwire's weekly MP3 blog charts.
The site handpicked 30 music bloggers and follows the indie songs and CDs they're praising.
The most-recent chart puts Parisian pop band Phoenix's "It's Never Been Like That" on top. Second place is shared by Margot and The Nuclear So & So's "The Dust of Retreat," "Citrus" by Asobi Seksu and "Carnavas" by Silversun Pickups.
The site also allows you to listen to the music. (Although clicking "Listen" for Phoenix takes you to their MySpace page where "Rally" plays instead.)
I must say, even though I hit the MP3 blogs faithfully, I'm only intimate with about a half dozen of the chart contributors. Here's the list: aekituesday, chromewaves, cindyhotpoint, coolfer, diyrockstar, Dodge, dreamsofhorses, exitfare, extrawack, gorillavsbear.net, indiedontdance, IRockCleveland, jschmigga, largeheartedboy, looserecord, loudersoft, metrodistortion, missmodernage, morecowbell, musicsnobbery, muzzleofbees, noisefortoaster, onelouder, outtheother, Philabuster, rdarmanin, RockInsider, skatterbrain, StrawberryFire, Subinev, TheListen, torrmoz
i have fixed the dead links, my mistake. maybe next time you can send me an email.
