Wayns named McDonald's all-American

It's official. Maalik Wayns is a McDonald's all-American.
The Roman Catholic senior was named to the 2009 McDonald's All-American high school team this evening. The 6-foot-1 point guard will participate in the all-star game on April 1 at the BankUnited Center in Miami. The Inquirer reported Tuesday that he was expected to be named to the team.
